Tom Wilkinson who is a Academy Award nominee play Father Moore in film. Father Moore was actually blame for Anneliese Michel death. As he go on trail for homicide he try to proved to the people that it was the cause of faith against science. Father Moore was told that Anneliese Michel was never demon possessed and he accuses a young woman medical in favor of the exorcism. Father Moore told people that it it was not so much theological or religious conviction but was empirical evidence in the documented case with things he has seen and experienced during the time. Father Moore said " if you really look hard at the evidence, the most rational conclusion is to believe that the demonic is real." The movie deal with religious belief, no matter what you believe Anneliese Michel story will question you in some way. In Father Moore words "what you believe about the reality of the demonic, and the existence of the devil and the existence of God." Therefore, anyone could be possess by demons and go through the same experience.
